Jigtopia is a very attractive puzzle game with a nice collection of pictures that will appeal to all jigsaw puzzle fans. The program interface is very well organized and offers a wide array of functions that will let us play comfortably.
The main window will show us a photo gallery where we can choose the puzzle we want to complete. The program comes with a number of predefined pictures and the best is that it can transform our own pictures and images into new jigsaw puzzles. A really cool feature is that we can fully customize the parameters of each puzzle: from the main menu we can modify the puzzle name, set the number of pieces, and choose the piece shape and distortion. For each puzzle we can also select a different audio file that will play while we complete the puzzle. Audio files supported are .mid, wav, and rmi. Additionally, we can change the background color of the grid, and even add an image to decorate the table.
While we are playing, we can scatter the pieces, get some hints, and make use of other handy tools like the ‘ghost’ or ‘neighbor’. Besides, we can play in window or fullscreen mode.
The trial version of Jigtopia will be fully functional during 5 days. It is a really good game choice that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
